Canada has such beautiful terrain! I have been seriously considering moving to Canada, in spite of the cold & the high fuel prices up there!

Does anyone know of a good place to live up there out in the country but close to gainful employment?

G'day Daniel,
We pay about $1 a litre(you will have to convert it to gallons)
The difference is that ours comes from the cow not a processing plant.
Its not pasturised etc.
I used to get stomach cramps from shop milk but not anymore.
My ute is a 2004 Mazda Bravo 2.5T/D dual cab bullbar steel tray
I have modified it.
Quick removal radiator(one minute removal)
Heavy duty suspension and new shocks
Outback centre roof consol
2 1/2" exaust system with 3"flow through muffler.(15%power and torque increase)
To do list
Tinting
custom traybox(removable)
long range tank (custom made) and water tank
3000w pure sine inverter and 300ah battery
tipper conversion
hid spotlights
custom snorkle in 3" stainless
16" mags(currently run 7" 265 70 r15 limited to 4 tyres due to my load rating)
reverse camera and touch screen media centre.
My business takes me all over South Australia and I go to remote areas so I have to be self sufficient.
Thats our 97 2.8 td Deli and my Bravo next to it.
I get about 9.5km per litre of diesel.
Its comfortable to drive and does what I want it to do.
regards David

Very nice, David! Those are two good-looking vehicles you've got there!

I haven't actually seen a Delica L400 in person yet, but I may get the chance soon, as I'm planning to go to a "meat" on Vancouver Island!

I would love to start a petition to the NHTSA to change the current import age from 25 years to 15 years, or maybe even 5 years! Who would like to help me?

I know a JDM car I could import without any problems! A Nissan President VIP car!

The 150 & 250 series reminds me of a '70s Parisienne.

Reminds me of a lot of American cars from the 1970's-80's.

Has anyone here been to Mt. Rainier? It's a beautiful place to visit, with lots of breathtaking views & places for picnics. I would love to have a group of Delica owners come down & meet at Mount Rainier for some sightseeing, hiking, camping, & just enjoying the beauty of God's green earth.

I was just there last weekend. It was certainly socked in from cloud, I could not see much of it. Crystal Mountain was just getting snow, it should be open soon!

What is an ideal camping spot on Vancouver Island, & is there one close to the Cheewat giant cedar? My parents & my brother & I are planning to take a trip up to see the big cedar, & maybe go camping up there somewhere. My parent's vehicle is a Windstar van, which a 4wd is not...

There is a pretty camp ground near Parksville called Rathtrevor. It is a pay site but it is on the beaten path so your Windstar will be okay. It is also on the east end of the No.4 Highway, which takes you west to MacMillan Provincial Park (Cathedral Grove), Port Alberni, Sproat Lake and on to Ucluelet & Tofino. You will also see a lot of Delicas in this area as it has become a natural habitat for the Starwagon & Space Gear. Near by is the village of Coombs where you will find a groovy store & cafe with goats on the roof and also Coombs Country Autos, which is a garage that deals a lot with Delicas and I'm sure you've read references regarding "CC Autos".

Thank you, Falco! This information will be greatly appreciated! I will keep you posted when I know what time of the year we decide to make the trip to the Island, as we will be moving during December & January. We will have plenty of parking available at the new place, & if someone coming thru Washington wants to stop in & maybe camp out, they need only ask ahead of time. My family loves meeting new people, & seeing new places!

Been talking to Mum & Dad about the camping trip, & Mum wants to wait until the weather warms up a bit, as she doesn't like camping in the cold!

Would love to have a meet up there too, & take a hike up to The Big Tree! Don't wish to get lost up there...

I am a Delica owner that would fall into the group of Skeptics. I don't believe in any conspiracy theories at all.
I credit this to my education in the sciences, and specifically the two books "Demon Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark" and "Why People Believe Weird Things".
But that is just me.
