We are without car till Friday. We left it in Mitsubishi garage and they will replace some parts and fix minor problems. We have internet access, so we will be uploading photos to our website in next few days.

We spent last two days cleaning car before shipping to Australia. car has to be like now, so it is very hard work after so many thousands kilometres through Russia and Central Asia.
We are shipping 25.1. from Fukuoka port to Melbourne. Car should arrive first week in March and we can start our australian adventure. :-D

We look forward to go to Canada, because we love nature, woods, lakes, rivers, open fire....that is why, we loved Russia so much/ and people there were fantastic/. If we could, we would move there for few years.

We spent more then 100 hours cleaning the car and we left Delica in Fukuoka port, today.
We miss here already:-]

They did not have time to do quarantine inspection on Friday, so we are stuck in Melbourne till Tuesday, at least. Weather is hot, they have record temperatures for this time of the year/ 34-37C/.

Is that humid as well? In Arizona 48C didn't seem too bad since it was dry, but Florida at 38C and 82% humidity was brutal for sleeping in the van.

I do not know how much alcohol we can bring to Canada, but we have always something. We took 4litres of Slivovice to Australia.

If you want to have really good beer, you have to visit us in Czech.

Hello Kamil and Helena,
no need to worry about bringing alcohol up here.
Plenty on hand as it is.
I even have a bottle of Slivovice somewhere in the house.
As far as czech beer, that we have too. :-D
Plzenske also known as Pilsner Urquell, Krusovice, Baron, and even the real Budweiser - Budvar, here it is sold as Czechvar. Still fighting with the boys from Milwaukee over the trademark.
I will have some on hand when you'll be here.

Have a safe journey down under!
