I did the exact same tire swap earlier this year, so far this winter I've noticed that the Duratracs aren't near was good on black ice. I never had any problem with the Geo's but already this year i've had a couple slippy moments. Just a heads up.

Good to know. I had a couple slippery moments with the Geolanders just in rain

I'm hoping the Duratrac's will be much better. Only time will tell.

				LED Lights:
Finally got all my LED lights in. The total cost was about $70 for (almost) all interior and exterior bulbs.
I bought:
8x 1156 (rear reverse x2, rear turn signals x2, front fog x2, front turn signal x2)

2x 1157 (rear brake lights)
With brakes off.

With Brakes on. Quite the difference.

2x 1156 amber (side markers)
Side markers wouldn't work because the polarity was backwards (thanks to LeeHammy and yojimbo for the help) but the fix was easy. Take the wires out of the holder and switch them. Problem solved.

10x 31mm festoon bulbs. Only needed 8 but came in a pack of 10 (2x dome, 2x map, 2x door, 1x sliding door step, 1x 3rd row seat dome)

There's no way i'm pulling that off...unless they burn out

 They're good for now.

Hehe, they are replaced from behind the tailgate trim panel inside, its actually fibre optic out to the panel letters. Still a faff though.

				More LED's...
I finally found the LED light that fits into the reading spot light in the back.
It was on eBay as BA9S 1D 0.5W mini. $1.36 for two and free shipping. Can't beat that!

Also decided to buy some LED COB strip "DRL" lights to replace the 20W bi-pin fluorescent bulb. The LED's are 6W each.
First had to remove the covering.

Snipped the wires going to each end of the bi-pin connectors. On mine the grey wires were negative and the white wires were positive. Then installed the LED's with the 3M strip and wired them up.

Pretty easy to do.

Yes, kind of... High lights them both, Medium does nothing, and low only lights one. Works for me.

Finally got a hitch. Bought it used here on Delica. It's a factory hitch so I just needed to take the chrome bumper off and put the hitch on. Took 20 mins.
Shipping from BC to ON was $75, but it only cost $125 so it was a cheap hitch overall for $200.
Going to remove it in the spring and clean it up, but I wanted to just get it out of my living room for now.
I'm not planning on towing anything with the hitch. Just wanted it to mount a bike rack.

				Nice. I couldn't imagine not having a hitch :)

I've been wanting one for over 5 years. Couldn't justify $400-$600 for a hitch plus then having to buy a bike rack on top of that. $200 is well worth it though.

Sorry if you've already mentioned it, but where did you source the LEDs from, the 1156's in particular? Was it an easy transaction? Thanks, it's all looking good!!
