Better L400 urban mileage in second ("Hold") gear?

Since adjusting my TPS, I've changed the trans fluid. This has also made a noticeable difference to the shifting (as the ATF was really dirty).

The shifting happens at appropriate revs and sometimes it's perfectly smooth. It does still shift a bit hard once in a while.

I've only had my van less than 1 month. I'm sure I still have to learn how to drive it; if it's when I'm accelerating hard or soft, going up or down a hill, etc.

Either way, I love it.
