Well I got the pieces back from powder coating today. The sand blasting took it's toll on each of the pieces but enough is left to last for a few more years. I did check the usual foreign suppliers and a number of them have the 3 pieces. The parts work out to about $200 and the freight is $150 to $200 depending on whether you can get everything from 1 supplier. I guess I'll be into a custom bumper in a few years.

I see Covid is still keeping you busy. Your box of tools is the envy of a lot of people - me included.

Upgraded the MMCS head unit to an EONON UA12S Plus. Looking for help figuring out:
- CAN BUS connections
- Steering wheel controls
- Camera control

Lower EGTs and better hill speed are exactly what you’d expect, and once boost and fueling are dialed in you’ll likely see a small MPG gain too.

Freer-flowing exhaust usually helps EGTs and drivability more than outright power on the L400, so what you’re noticing makes sense. Pairing it with careful boost, and fueling tweaks should really wake it up without stressing things.
