Roof Rack Delica L 300 High Roof

I need some help to get a roof rack for my Delica L300 1993 with an high roof. I want to install a ski box.

We have roof rack for delica high roof for $225 comes with two cross bars and 4.5x4.5 basket.

In fact, I already have 2 bars, I just need the clamp. Or if not possible I will consider the option of buying bars and clamp together.

I don't want a basket, I want to install a big ski box...

Would that work with you? or anyone else have options?

Thule high towers work on highroof L300's I got mine, with crossbars, on craigslist about 2 years ago for about 100 beans.

Been trying to find a cheap alternative for Thule High Gutter Racks for L300 High Roof and found the imitation Inno brand here for $195 incl. shipping for feet & bars as package:

Anyone had luck with the 7.5" height racks? This seems like it may be a bit tight as from bottom of gutter depression to highest point on roof is about 7-7.5" by measuring tape and using my eyeball for a level, so doesnt leave much room for attachments that go under loadbars.

Searched high and low and this is the best deal for feet + bars.

Anyone have another source? I tried looking for Landrover and VW Gutter racks with no luck.

FYI - Thule "High" Gutter Mount racks are ideally what you need for L300 High Roof. They are 8" from gutter to bottom of cross bar but are uber-expenseive new (From U.S. looking at $160 for feet + $80 for cross bars + taxes, shipping likely free from right source). Thule Super-High is another option which have 11" rise but only if you have some crazy roof top accessories. Yakima has similar option too. Same price and always a worse design than Thule with round bars.

I think either Yakima or Thule Gutter Tower will crushed your Chrome garniture at the Edge of the Rain Gutter when tighten. How do you fit these properly Guys ?

Also, is there enough clearance between these Towers and the Glass of the Crystal Lite Roof ? Do you put any soft material in between ?
