We left Calgary April 29th and traveled south to Red Rock national park in Nevada and spent 4 days climbing before going to Zion National park in Utah and hiking up to Angels landing. Crowded but spectacular. We visited a couple of slot canyons in the Escalante area
We drove about 8000 kilometers and paid a total of 4 dollars in accommodations (not including the $30 back country pass to canyonlands). That was the second trip to Moab for the Delica and we had no problems except for two flat tires.
(peek-a-boo gulch, spooky gulch). We did a bit of hiking in Bryce canyon, and drove the Burr trail through Capital Reef national park. We went to the Island in the sky, canyonlands and managed to drive the "White rim road" We went to arches national park and we spent several days in Moab exploring and climbing before visiting Yellowstone on our return trip home. It was an incredible trip. A couple of pictures cannot begin to show the beauty of Southern Utah.We drove about 8000 kilometers and paid a total of 4 dollars in accommodations (not including the $30 back country pass to canyonlands).
