just picked up a 91 pajero lwb with 147000ks blows a little black on shifts but all seems good so far for 2000 bucks I can,t go wrong.
I have gone threw 5 jeeps and 1 range rover but in the last two days I like this little guy and no rust what a change.Will see how he holds up to fish guiding this summer

Would be a smart move to get the cooling system
And timing belts looked at soon.
Might have been done already but probably not.
A bit of maintenance goes a long long way on the
4d56 engines.
I have talked to many folks that got a
Cheap ride than an expensive new head.

Do not want to put you off at all,
I got a really cheap price on my
Spouse's Pajero (92 lwb)
Put grand and a half into her
And have been pretty happy so far.
If I had not done the cooling system
I would have toasted the engine for sure
It was in awful awful shape.
