Wheel bolt pattern...........

Hello all!
I'm hoping to become a member of the Delica cult within the next 2 weeks. :-D :-D

I'm curious if anyone can tell me what the wheel bolt pattern is?
e.g. Will I be able to 'bolt-on' Toyota wheels or Dodge truck wheels?
Just curious.............

I read somewhere on this site that forerunner rims fit the delicas. Not sure about the bolt pattern but try a search under that.
When does your delica arrive? Mine comes in on the Hanjin Oslo, leaving Tokyo tomorrow (3rd) I hope. i'm excited, it's been a long wait but I was fussy wanting a raised non crystal top, captains chairs, head rests, and shoulder harnesses. Its supposed to be here the week before Christmas.

Do you know anything about the "unloading fee approx. $500" for a container. Total of all fees and duties comes to approx $1600. Who is your customs agent?

my tag of Delica pending is hinging on a sale of my old VW truck.

I'm doing some homework in (fingers crossed) prep. to get into a Delica with the idea of bigger diameter wheels and tires.

I will look into the Toyota measurements. T

Haven't bought new tires yet, pending getting a job. Tried on 4Runner rims awhile ago and the fit was good.

That's what I was thinking about. 16"ers is an easy bolt-on way for more ground clearance, now the wheelwells,that may be a different story.

Hi, not to steal the thread, but if your really adventurous, and want to have a larger tires and power from the v6 forrunner, we just put a complete set of 4runner axels onto a delica, the majority of those axels came with an E-locker in the rear, we swaped out the front as well for matching gear ratios, The costomers Delica has a higher stance to say the least, now has a locker in the back with a locker switch up front on the dash.... so like red green says,"if they dont find you handsome , they should at least find you handy"
Its a sweet mod using readily available parts. and they come with the rims most of the time.
No im not trying to drum up buisness, just pointing out some easy to add ideas for power and options, I know i cant leave my delica alone. im always making stuff for it and changing other things. hmmm, crap, i guess now that i read this it could have been better in the mods section. O-well, if they want it there it will get moved lol

Is that the machine I awed over in Port Alberni this past summer?

One of the main reasons I wanna get into a Delica is for the reliability factor and not haveing to do byweekly maintenance. Right now I drive a 1968 VW Crewcab that is pending a sale. Having it for the past few years and modifying suspension and loads of other stuff, I like the idea of hopping in,cranking the heat and driving away.

BUT I guess I'm the same way,always wanting to mod something and not happy without putting a personal touch to my vehicles.

I love the Toy swap idea, especially since the parts are pretty easy get a hold of.

My wife says I'm handsome and handy so I guess I'll just have to settle for wearing suspenders, red plaid shirt, hiking boots and a have tool box full of "Red Green" tape!!!!!!!!! <---------oh wait.. the duct tape repairs are only for 40 year old VW's aren't they???
PS You wouldn't be able to shoot me some pix of this van with the Toy suspension? My good friend is right into 4x4 mod's and would be quite interested in it. I've seen some lift jobs from Japan and I maybe be wrong but they look kinda 'back-yardish'.

I to would love to see pictures of the axle swap! Would make the fitting of a manual locker in the front easier to source, swear I even saw a lockrite for a 4runner craigs list (or somewhere).

Hmmm, dont think so, we just finished this one a few weeks ago, we were looking into the mog suspesion for the portal axels and cable lockers, but the long pinion would only leave about 6inches for a drive shaft and that just wouldent leave any room for a slip yoke. so the other portals we are thinking are volvo portal axels, only about half as strong as a unimog, but still about 1ton strength and have the portals with lockers. Im actually in the middle of making a delica Overdrive box to go inline, so far it bolts up and works great, but we are needing to cut the gears in half for a thinner box so the drive shaft has enough room for angles and articulation. so that leaves us with custom astroloy gears for strength but then the cost damn near doubles with the custom fab work and the cost of astroloy.but its so far the best way to have intown gearing for drivablity and have a REAL overdrive to be able to cruise nicely at 140km doing 2200rpm. ya I said it out loud . for those of you who understand the whole rpm/kmhr thing that should have you scratching your head a few times. Its a cable activated overdrive box you activate it while driving like a old school t-case, but backwards.

I think I'll just stick with some larger wheels and tires...........mind you 140kmh@2200 would be sweet..........

6 on 5.5 offset depends on width and your tires.
