torsion bars

Good Afternoon.

Im in need of some torsion bar advice. I re-indexed about 3 years ago and looks like it needs it done again. I have adjusted them but have run out of space. I replaced my shocks earlier this year and asked the shop if they would possibly re-index them. They didnt stating they didnt want to be responsible for snapping them seeing that I had done them once before. It would seem from the shop that re-indexing more than once is not advised. Im just wondering if someone here could advise me on whether or not that is indeed the case. Aftermarket torsion bars seem few and far between.

Cheers

Rob

Hey B
Reindexing can be done as many times as you need. It's easy to do. If the bars continue to sag they need replaced, that simple....
I've reindexed in all 3 of my delicas but in my present L400 series 2 Chamonix I installed new T bars. They continued to sag so I replaced them from http://www.dobinsonsprings.com/suspensi ... rsion-bars. They manufacture and you can deal direct with them. Measure your bars and order them.

No one here sells T bars.

good luck

Thanks for the prompt reply. I see they are from AUS. How long did you need to wait for delivery?

Thanks

You can reindex them as needed.
Check with a couple of the shops in BC
Might have some stiffer ones available.
