Hey all.
This may seem like a simple question but, I have a '98 L400 and was wondering what in the average mileage you folks get per tank. City driving for me is around 250 km, if I am really gentle.
I don't drive her hard so am concerned about my fuel consumption.
Thanks for the help
Erik :)

I don't have an L400, so nothing to add, but to aid others: is yours petrol or diesel?

I have a 95 L400 Diesel LWB and get 450 to 500 km out of a tank. Thats an average of 12-13l/100km. I drive mainly highway.

I have a '99 L400 diesel with a bunch of extra weight added. Rooftop tent, rear tire carrier, extra agm battery, camperized inside, second fuel tank, 31" tires. I can get about 475km highway and 400km mixed highway/city. I would say 250km is low for a tank. My fuel consumption was poor until I did my injectors, cleaned my MAP sensor filter, new air filter/fuel filter, and things got better after that. Try cleaning your MAP sensor filter, it often gets overlooked. It's the Orange plastic thing on your intake manifold. Get some MAP/MAF cleaner from Lordco for the job.

Might also be worth taking a look for a stuck brake caliper. That'll drastically cur your fuel.
I have a 97 l400 and get 400 to 450km in the city
