Check out used tanks from the auto wreckers (Jeep CJ of Blazer/Jimmy should fit in spare tire spot). I bought a Jeep YJ 80L tank from the wreckers for $85. Fits nicely behind the rear row of seats:

Marine tanks are also a cheaper option, check out Matthew's 76L tank that he bought for around $100 USD (don't ask him how much duty he paid though):

I have a question. What about the tanks being certified for fuel and crashes? My guess is that the used Jeep tank would be considered certified, but I wonder how a commercial inspector is going to feel about a fuel tank in the passenger compartment. Technically I'm not even allowed to take our forklift propane cylinder in our mini van for that reason. Has anyone had a problem with this?
