The number I had received from some friends in the U.K. was E-2871 I just ordered it yesterday, so I won't know for at least a week (I hate paying freight so I told the supplier to get it in his stock order). The number was good,as sometimes the UK numbers don't work here. I'll let you know when it shows up. They also told me the number for the 96 l400 is E-2877. gonna keep that number handy for when I buy another Delica in a couple of years.

The Paj uses the 2871 on the 4M40. Same unit as the 2.5. Can't speak for a Deli, but would assume its the same!

The Spacegear 2.8 parts and the Pajero 2.8 parts are interchangeable.

It's the Delica 2.5 and Pajero 2.5 parts where are few are different such as the air filter (placement due to cab over vs. standard hood arrangement)

I called Napa and gave them the number for the filter and they said it doesn't exist in their system. These parts numbers are hit and miss. How does one get a K&N filter for these vehicles????

That's wierd. Auto parts plus had it on file, and had me one the next day. IIRC, Crappy Tire had it in their system as well. K&N E1012.

Delica Wiki http://wikrad.com/delica/index.cgi?air_filters

:edit:
Just realised only the L300 part numbers are listed there, but perhaps you guys could start adding this knowledge to the wiki as it's editable if you create an account.

I ordered mine, but I must be special, because its coming on the next space schutle or something. 8 week delivery time. It's sometimes hard living in the middle of small town manitoba, and trying to support local business.
