Now that we have quite a few Okanagan area members, we should get a real mini meet together. Let's see if we can get a half dozen Delicas or something together.

What weekends work for everyone? I'd be up for a Vernon meet on Saturday November 21st location TBA with some 4X4ing afterwards.



After a quick phone call this past Sunday, almac and I met up in Armstrong to check out our Delicas (mainly, so I could check out his new Delica!). Here are some pics from that mini meet.

I'd like to join in, but Vernon next weekend is a bit too far on such short'ish notice, besides work right now is nucking futs. I would be in for something a little closer, maybe Kelowna or even further south like Penticton...? We could definitely do 3 or 4 just from Penticton alone.

Kelowna is certainly an option too. I'm pretty flexible that way.

I'm definitely up for a meet. unfortunately I'll probably be out of town this weekend backcountry skiing. Keep me posted if dates change. Vernon definitely works for me (since I live here ) but I'd be willing to go to Kelowna as well.

Time and place...

How about we meet Saturday Nov 21st starting at 1pm at the Vernon Canadian Tire (4510 27th Street). Let's stick to the more deserted corner of the parking lot (where 27th street and Husky border the parking lot).

Diesel, for those who are running low:
Super Save across the street from Canadian Tire
Husky right next door to Canadian Tire

Food, for those that haven't eaten lunch:
Subway is about a block away
Pizza Hut is across the street
Canadian Tire and other gas stations would have snacks too.
and probably other places that I can't think of right now

At approx. 2pm, for those that want to continue on and go for a 4X4 trip, let's head from Canadian Tire, right on 27th street, and left on Highway 6 to King Edward Forestry Road. From there we can head up to King Edward Lake or other areas up there.

Sounds good, I can make it for 1PM parking lot meet, at least...not sure about the 4x4 trip.

Woohoo. This is looking like it'll be a decent little meet for it being such short notice.
