There are several shops in the greater Vancouver area you can go to.
I recommend one of these 2 shops.
CVI (Richmond)
Rising Sun Imports (New Westminster)

Soon to be on the North Coast.
The gen-1 Spacegear were built through 1996 and have larger headlights and larger front signal lights compared to the gen-2 which were built in 1997 - mid 2000's. The Gen 2 has a completely different front sheet metal design which does have a really nice bumper and lower valence design if you get an...

What to do with a crashed van?
Well that sucks. There are wreckers in Edmonton and Calgary who want JDMs. Google the search combo and see what happens.

Floor shifter not engaging lights on dash are flashing
The key snapping off the end of shifter can occur when too much force is used to change in and out of the 4WD modes. The end is so thin it only takes one hard shift to cause a crack which eventually shears off. Quite surprised yours was welded as the metal is very grainy and would not normally accep...

Cold Weather Starting Issues
Where did the glow plugs come from folks? Are they eBay specials or did you pony up for the expensive ones?
Personally I have bought 2 sets of eBay plugs and they were garbage in cold weather. Spent the money on a good set this winter and my cold start issues went away even in -30C.

My L300 is in serious trouble
The fuel pump rebuild by itself isn't a very hard job....The timing can be finicky. All the other work they quoted you... Belts, seals, waterpump....Are general maintenance items that can be done by anyone with decent mechanical aptitude. It's just time of course. Did you contact Commbs Country Auto...

Oil for 1998 Delica L400 gasoline 6G72
15W40 is normally intended for diesel engines due the detergent additives and better lubricating agents needed to fend off soot content caused by diesel engine combustion. With a typical Canadian winter (-15C and lower) the Mitsubishi diesels start better with 0W40 synthetic (my own experience). I a...

L400 Won't Shift From Park In Colder Weather
Mr. Fuji: are you still having this issue once the cabin is warm? I would try a blow dryer (not a heat gun) pointed at the solenoid and see if this frees he unit. If it does then the fix is simple and I would be willing to help you out with the repair. I can also grab my friends MUT system and do a ...

First oil change
Welcome to the group! Where did you find oil filters so cheap???? Yes run 0w40 for winter in your Delica Diesel, they are much happier in winter with that blend. Glow plugs can be a problem with early burnout so have a spare set on hand. Sea foam in the fuel filter....if you want to clear the inject...

Re: Inclinometer Fluid & Fix
The fluid is mineral oil and it doesnt freeze. Other fluids will only damage the paint on the ball. The expansion is managed by leaving a small air bubble which is done during the filling stage. There is also an alignment pin (metal) that sometimes breaks free which allows the ball to move in all di...

Re: front end "clink"
Does you Deli have manual hubs or the stock flange units? I have had my hubs and front end apart several times since owning it for bearings, brakes, bushings, CV boots. There is only a small amount of play in the splined section of the stub shaft and that needs to be there. Your stub shaft should ha...
