carry 660

suzuki carry 660 - 2wd standard - 4500 obo I am finally selling my little suzuki. I have had it since 2007 and have probably paid for it in fuel. Has been well maintained and serviced (have to change the oil a lot on these). Has low k (67264) and has been lightly used. I unfortunately need a vehicle...

Re: only starting in drive?

thanks will figure out how to update my profile - back when I joined the L300 was about the only one around. Managed to get it started in first by playing with the cable at the shift lever. Having trouble removing the neutral safety switch from the transmission though - any tips for that? thanks john

Re: only starting in drive?

thanks!! it is an L300 and it was strarting in drive - not neutral but from reading the posts on the neutral safety switch I have a sense that is the problem - will give it a try.
4 years of troublefree have been nice - but all good times end - what a great forum

only starting in drive?

Hi I have an unusual problem. I had a good start in cold weather (starting normally in park) but the transmission lever didn't want to shift easily. Subsequently I had no dash transmission indicator lights working (except for park) - then the vehicle wouldn't start in park but would start easily in ...

I had gotten pulled over in the deli for one of the speeding lotteries - rcmp officer knew the vehicle well (out of australia). I don't have sidlelights (grey issue) and he knew it was an issue and didn't push it I could see it or someting else being an issue depending on what kind of day everyone w...

best I've done is 24 m/g (thats 29 us) or 8.5 k/litre - thats sedate driving well under 3000 rpm - 80-90k/hr. If I keep it under 3000 rpm (100-110k) I average around 22.

I had a little dust migrate in the back on a long logging road run. Back seems to be a magnet for crud- airstream seems to want to push the van. Anybody know if an airfoil would change that? back to the dust and rattles - I lubed all the seals with silicone rubber stuff which definitely helps, nice ...

I posted a response - I identified my age and demographic which I think is useful for anyone responding. I basically said that we need to increase our access to fuel efficient and more purpose oreinted vehicles. I said it would be more affective to reduce the age criteria rather than increase it. I ...

amazing ride

winter was all about taking it up the mountain (washington) and trying to get it stuck. Finally took it out to the coast (pachena). For years I have bumped myself silly on those logging roads. Landcruiser used to leave parts of itself all over the place, used to hit my head on the roof of our old me...

definitely side exit. Back seems too suck everything against it (good for mileage - getting pushed by the wind). Noticed on the dust roads how much dust works into the back even with the seals good.

I'm just starting to look at suspension, so this is all good advice. I've had my experiences in rearching two landcruiser trucks and just like wayne said - they sagged fast. I added springs without good results as well. My rear end looks and feels good. Generally I've been really impressed at how st...

that is a nice truck. Might have to widen the driveway. I cannot get over driving the carry, I'm having tooo much fun with it.

Not as easy to get information about it as the delica (2 fuel filters??) Think of it as a delica service truck (to keep it on thread).
