Cold Weather Starting Issues
I too am having cold start issues. Used to be a bit reluctant when cold but run smooth immediately on firing up. Glow plugs and power check out. Injector pump seal replaced. A shop which will remain nameless for now then replaced a number of other parts and charged me a great deal of money. Now it w...

Shock Poll....who uses what brand?
I have Ranchos front and back on a 98 L400. Turned driving from frightening to a real pleasure. Turn them softer for forest roads. Very satisfied. Don't have part numbers with me but message me if you are interested and I can post them.

I used the specs from the manual section and could email it to you if you send me an email. carlwiebe@telus.netDrumster wrote:Carl, I assume you're driving 4WD L400. What were those specs you gave them?

Re: Led light bar
I have a question about driving lights. My Hellas have a trigger wire for the relay that are to go to the high beams so the driving lights can't go on if the high beams aren't on. In other words, the high beam switch can douse both the "brights" and the driving lights. I like this feature ...

Cruise control
I'm looking to install, or have installed cruise control in my second gen. L400 with the usual automatic transmission. Suggestions for kits or installers greatly appreciated!

Yes I thought a 6 but no, appears to be a seven. Will post when I get it in. Don't know about LED.

Re: Parking pole light bulb
Thanks big Bird. I have a green min pole end of you're ever in Vancouver! No one seems to have the bulb but it is a BA7s. I think. EBay is sending two and I'll post when I know it fits for sure.

Parking pole light bulb
I managed to find the bulb at the base of the parking pole on my new to me 98 L400. It would be so cool to have that little green thing light up! But where can I find a replacement? I believe it is a BA6s and so far I'm striking out even on eBay. Amy suggestions wise ones? Sent from my SM-N910W8 usi...

Re: Wheel alignment shop lower mainland??
Had mine done at OK tire on 3rd near Granville island. I have them the specs and they were happy to do it. Good job and returned it with their machines print out. Much nicer to drive now. Just waiting for those Rancho socks to arrive.

Re: Double Din stereos?
Hi guys. The extra wire was a second antenna. No needed. I'm embarrassed to admit what my problem was. Turns out my batteries were so low on voltage the new radio (pumpkin) wouldn't boot. Two new batteries later (thank goodness for employee discount) and it's all good. Sent from my SM-N910W8 using T...

Re: RE: Re: Double Din stereos?
I put in a double din from eBay. It runs android as the os. Not sure I'd go back to a regular radio. Has all your basic functions and then will run any android app on the market. You can put a 3g usb dongle as well. I use an app called "my car" to track all of my fuel and service records....
