I use Rocky Mountain Imports in Victoria, BC. They have been great.
I also will scan forums to find parts that match with a North American Vehicle. Then you can use Lordco, Napa, etc...

Clock and outside temp reading
Hi, I have an L400 super exceed. My clock and my temp reading light keep fading and coming back on. Sometimes I can't even read the outside temp at all. Radio, lights, windows etc are totally fine. Dash lights are fine. Had a squeak in by belts - turned out to be the crank pulley. Thought this might...

When installing an updated crank pulley and seal do you put the oil slinger back in or is it not needed?
Thank you

L400 Terzo ladder
Would you mind sending me a picture please? Did you have to drill any new holes in the ladder? Not sure how I can move it.
Thank you

L400 - Simple & Effective Camper-ization (LWB recommended)
Hey I really like your setup.
Interested in what you did with the tarp to create more cover. When I click on you link, it says the folder is empty. Could you send me some pics of the tarp setup you made please.
Thank you,
Shadi

L400 Terzo ladder
Hi guys, Just got my hands on a L400 Ladder but it is missing a part. Where the ladder is supported on the bottom of the door sits right at the licence plate area. I need something to make it flush. Does anybody have something that they have used or can take some measurements and pictures of the par...

converting the current seats into a bed
Hi Delica community, Has anybody ever tried to convert the current seats in a long wheel base L400 into a bed by removing the current cushions and putting down their own mattress? What does the frame of the seats look like? Is this possible? I want to camperise my Deli but want to have the option of...

Rear defrost
My rear defrost isn't working. The light on the defrost switch comes on but I'm not getting power to the defrost on the back (checked with a multimeter). The circuit on the window is fine. Checked the fuses and they seem fine too. Anybody have this problem? And ideas? I have a feeling that it is a b...

Re: Sunroof stuck slightly open
Got it FINALLY!! The problem was that I couldn't figure out what the decoration cover was. For anybody else like me it is not on the rails for the sunroof it is the plastic bit on the sunroof glass. Once I got those off I loosened the bolts, adjusted the glass to fix the alignment. Resync the motor....

Re: Sunroof stuck slightly open
Thanks a ton for all the tips. It sounds like I have to take my sunroof apart. The problem is mine looks different then the one in the shoppe Manual. I don't have a decoration cover and can't access anything from the side. All the screws and bolts look to be under the headliner or too deep in the su...

Re: Sunroof stuck slightly open
Tried tugging on the cable, tried it while the sunroof was closed and it wouldn't budge. Tried it when the sunroof was half open and it made the motor out of sync. It seems like it is out of alignment or something is stopping the sunroof on the right from closing fully. It is literally open 1-2mm on...

Re: Sunroof stuck slightly open
Pulled my motor and flipped cog, motor working great now, no clicking but I still have about a 2mm gap on the driver's side. Any other ideas??

Sunroof stuck slightly open
Hi guys, I have a 1996 l400 S1 super exceed. I can't get it to close the last 2-3mm on the drivers side. It is letting in a bit of water and I can't figure out how to get it to close. I have tried manually closing it with the hex key but it only closes fully on the left then starts jumping cogs as I...

Re: Tips and Tricks for changing glow plugs
Hey there,
I used deep creep to unseize the glow plugs. I soaked a rag and wrapped it around the glow plugs thanks to your suggestion. It worked like a dream.
Thank you very much for the tips. Van starting perfect on cold mornings now!

Re: Cold start problem
Hi Guys, I changed my glow plugs and upgraded the busbar. I had the electrical connection going into my first glow plug rather then into the busbar. After the change it now starts perfect with no smoke! Just a heads up to anybody buying from Mardy at amazing auto. He told me that he checked the glow...
