Yeah, I'd love to have that thing but for that amount of money I can have brand new tires and still have 400 for whatever comes around. lol
I have been recommended to look for either 4runner or Xterra + some minor welding job.
Thx to everybody anyways.

Hey, sometimes power steering pump makes kind of "bad bearing" sound and pump is right there. Especially if you have leak in PS or running low on PS fluid. I have same model and honestly, below -25 my fan belts get noisy before she warms up. If you have been told that your belts and bearin...

120V Outlet or via cigarette lighter?
Thomas The alternator failure is often preceded by a dead battery, the message being "replace your battery when it doesn't hold a charge." The battery may need to be replaced with a larger battery when the deli arrives here. MD Battery was replaced last year. Alternator went about 10 mont...

Temporary trailer hitch on '95 L400 bush bar?
Hi, I haven't done anything like this but I was rear ended [in low speed] and bush bar [chrome] took nearly all the impact. It's a garbage now and I had to remove it as it got ripped out from it's mounting points. They are not the strongest... Bush bar is in there mostly for looks I guess. But there...

Hi, I have 99 Chamonix. I was expecting dual battery as it should be winter package but I didn't get it. But have to say that she starts in -30 without major problems. [when get below -25, she works a bit harder but never had to boost her] I found two cigarette lighters [one classic by driver and on...

Hi. I have 99 Chamonix. 3L V6 Google says that there is 75 l fuel tank but honestly, I never managed to fit more that 65 liters of fuel in there...... But anyway, with 75 l tank math brings me to 15l/100 km if you keep it about 3k rpm. That gives you about 110km on flat highway. [Love driving in nat...

Hey. See wiring behind your middle console. Clock, "top console'' and some more things, turning signals for instance, lead to the same "main'' wiring. I have discovered this when I swapped my radio Check out this amazing instruction. Picture 6 and 18 showing wiring you should be interested...

That's for L400 Chamonix. I'm not fully sure what low roof means. As far as I understand, only crystal roofs are somehow taller.

On more serious note, that switch has major effect on your cool air flow. My is missing plastic end of the switch so I have to use wise grips to operate that and open/close makes a massive different. If you keep it close all the time, you barely getting any cool air into you cabin ventilation system...

Thermometer/ outside temperature.
Hi. My thermometer for outside temperature works great as long as I'm driving. Slowly rising as soon as I stop and keep idling. It keeps rising up to whatever temperature. Highest I have seen was about +20 and it was just about freezing outside. I assume so sensor is affected by heat from engine. An...

Hi, powered side step [passenger seat] just stopped working. Doors warning light keeps flashing when you drive and even shortly after you turn off the engine. Lights are working properly [on when door is open, off when door is closed]. I'm able to pull out step from underneath the vehicle by hand. A...
