Re: Hello to the world of Delicas!
No....not moving to a Delica, as I already own a VW Westfalia. My rruck is being replaced by a 2003 Subaru Outback. Definitely not a truck, but will work better for the GF, a 4 y.o. and my mexican mutt. It's been really tough trying to decide which to sell, the Mighty Max or the VW. It's sad selling...

Re: Hello to the world of Delicas!
Hello Folks,
I haven't been on here for a while, but just wanted to mention that my Mighty Max truck is now for sale! Here is a link to my Craigslist add. It would be a nice addition to your MITSU collection.

Re: improove turning radius?
Strada caster... My Mighty Max p.up also has an absolutely terrible turning radius. So much so, that sometimes it even effects my ability to parrallel park! It drives me a little bit crazy, and it looks like I don;t know how to drive when I try to park! I am used to driving a VW westfalia, and they ...
Re: Strada?
I wouldn't hesitate to pull a trailor with a small boat behind my V6 Mighty MAx. It has alot of torque. I have had up to about 1500 pounds in the back before,a nd it was no problem for the motor and brakes, but the rear leaf springs are pretty wimpy. If I installed an "add a leaf" system t...

Re: reccomended extraction gear
Oops, forgot to mention if you are going to be airing down your tires you can get these "tire deflator" gadgets that will air down your tires to what ever PSI you set them to. This makes it quick and easy. You may also want to have a portable or on-board air compressor to air back up. Can ...

Re: reccomended extraction gear
If you don't have a winch, you can use the "pull pal" in conjunction with a high lift jack. When a High Lift jack is placed between your pull pal and your van, you will be able to move your vehicle (via the jack) as far forward as the length of the jack. So buy the longest high lift jack y...

Re: Show off your Pajero here
Nice! Those tires have scored high points for the heavier vehicles. Good choice. I think it's wise that you went to a narrower tire.....those other ones were crazy...well..great if you were planning to bury your truck in the mud at Stave Lake, but a bit much for everything else. Sweet rig! Lemme kno...

Re: Not mine but pretty cool mini-van-camper
I agree....easy to fix, loads of parts available. Just lacking on the style scale. Perhaps that would be a good donor vehicle for your camper project jfarsang? Gut it, then sell the rest to a contractor. Then again, at $6000 I guess you'd still be at a loss when its all said and done.

Re: Hello to the world of Delicas!
Here are a couple of pics after I installed the safari rack, and tool mounts. (note the shinny "poser" shovel) . It's not that new looking anymore! he he. I bought it from North Shore Offroad in North Vancouver. Do a search for "Surco"...that's the brandname of the rack. Hey Jfar...
Re: Strada?
Amazing! I just found this website today and I can't believe you have a sub forum on here for my truck! I thought I was the only one with one of these rare beauties..but now I know more exist. Very cool. I have a Mitsubishi Mighty Max (US version), which is like a Dodge D50 (Canadian version) which ...
