Hello to the world of Delicas!
Hi folks, I currently own a 92 Mitsubishi Mighty Max...rare 4x4 p.up from the U.S. which I love, and I'm considering trading in my VW westfalia for a Delica. The VW's aren't reliable, but are great campers. Lots of the suspension parts on my Mitsubishi truck seem to be interchangable with the Delica's, so this site has really caught my interest! I've also done a lift on my truck very similarly to how you are lifting the Delicas. I'd really like to check out some of your vehicles or possibly do some exploring around the Squamish area if you are doing any meet ups or trips in the future!
Awesome site! Here's a pic of what I'm driving:

Re: Hello to the world of Delicas!
Here are a couple of pics after I installed the safari rack, and tool mounts. (note the shinny "poser" shovel) . It's not that new looking anymore! he he. I bought it from North Shore Offroad in North Vancouver. Do a search for "Surco"...that's the brandname of the rack.
Hey Jfarsang....I remember u from the samba as well. How is that westy to Delica conversion coming along? Or should I say "Delifalia"? Have u camperized your Deli yet?

Canned the westy -> delica interior.
Too much wasted space. I'd take a flaming for that comment over there.
Going make my own cabinets and put in a good stove/fridge/diesel air heater in myself.
Mighty max's are great trucks
Montero / Max / Pajero / Delica share the same base.

Hello Folks,
I haven't been on here for a while, but just wanted to mention that my Mighty Max truck is now for sale! Here is a link to my Craigslist add. It would be a nice addition to your MITSU collection.

Re: Hello to the world of Delicas!
Well worth the price! I sold my beater of a mighty max with a dead engine for $700. They are excellent vehicles. Was yours part of the recall for the crankshaft pulley bolt problem?

Re: Hello to the world of Delicas!
No....not moving to a Delica, as I already own a VW Westfalia. My rruck is being replaced by a 2003 Subaru Outback. Definitely not a truck, but will work better for the GF, a 4 y.o. and my mexican mutt. It's been really tough trying to decide which to sell, the Mighty Max or the VW. It's sad selling a vehicle that I know I will never be able to replace :(. That truck has taken me to some incredible places..and back again!
