Swivel front seats for L400 ?
Hi friends, I have recently switched from my L300 4x4 to a VW T4 but returned to the family buying an L400 4x4 and am thinking about some mods. I really like the idea of swiveling front seats to get more space while in the van. I know it was easy and popular in the T4 vans, but do you know how I cou...

Re: Shocks to choose from ...
Hi, I have recently replaced my rear shocks with B6 Bilstein, part number F4-B46-1467-HO . They were on sale for around 45 CAD a piece, so cheaper than any crappy chinese part ! You can see that the original shock got cut on the bottom mounting.

L300 2,5TD manual LHD oil level sensor ?
Hi, Recently my oil level ( not pressure ) sensor started having moods. It seems to be hanging and after engine is started the light does not go off right away, only after I turn up the revs . Once in a while it does not go off at all but it does after restart of the engine. I change my oil and filt...

Re: Smart Battery monitoring systems
hey, I saw the IBS at Dino's van and wanted to build the same in my ride. The cost of IBS in Poland is around 220 CAD and it is not cheap. I have found a similar product branded by T-Max, which is a winch company, but it looks very cheap and the price is not much less than the IBS. http://www.tmax.p...

Re: Sleeping in your L300
hello ! I also have the two benches set up, however the last one is usually removed for more luggage space. On top of the front bench and a little plywood I use an airbed and it is very comfortable to sleep that way. Below are pictures of my L300. If you keep both benches, I would also use a thick a...

OK, here are some pics of continuation of my setup of the van : cooler, jerry cans for water and fuel, tools ( below the "shelf" thing ). Space on the right accomodates 2 bicycles. http://images44.fotosik.pl/162/b18e88603535e5a0med.jpg Setup for sleeping- middle seat flat, additional woode...

Re: Bed setup L300 - a little different !
thanks guys ! My wife was happy too with the bed and interior arrangement so the trip went fine ;)
I will be working on some other items inside but I use the van as a city car too and need the space for people inside so I want it fully reversible and as simple as possible.
Cheers,
Albert

Bed setup L300 - a little different ! UPDATED !
Hi, below are pictures of the bed setup in my van. It is designed to hold 2 pax of medium posture ;) and allows to keep a lot of space in the back. It is fully reversible and does not require any special mods to the interior other than removing 3rd row seat. 1. "soft" luggage is placed bet...
