Re: Heads up if you need L300 parts...
Hello Bob, Still got an engine? Mine just packed it in about 6 K east of Pavillion B.C., near Lillooet. Long story that includes meeting some great people who actually drove 6 of us home from Pavillion so on the one hand, I'm down an engine but on the other hand, I'm up two good friends. Still need ...

Ah... err... Commuters in the right lane, Drifters in the left ?!?!?
With a little tweaking, I bet a Deli could drift..... Now, where's my compressor.

Broken shifter cable on 5 speed?
Hi Folks, I had a shifter cable break on me. No really. It broke. Right off. I can prove it! My Deli is a 5 speed, model year 89, though actually built in 88, and it turns out that early in the '89 model year, Mitsubishi switched to a different style of shifter cable. Naturally, my Deli used the old...

Re: Alcohol-water injection for Turbo diesels Good cheap HP/TQ
Hi Loki, Theoretically, your water tank won't freeze unless it gets very cold because it will have a lot of alcohol in it. (Its always good to have alcohol in you in winter.) I think I recall that %40 alcohol is normal for injection, and my vague recollection is that it should be liquid to somewhere...

Hi Golf Cart,
I just changed the motor mounts and the effect was dramatic. Even my wife noticed the difference! Now if only I could do that when she gets her hair done.

Re: Complete Delica Injection Pump rebuild from top to bottom
Hey gang, I had a leaky pump but I didn't want to have my car off the road for as many days as it was going to take to get my pump rebuilt, so I just bought a rebuilt pump from Glen ( Coombs Country Auto ) . So now I have a rebuilt pump in my car and a none rebuilt pump in my shop. It would be nice ...

Re: reccomended extraction gear
Howdy gang, Hey! The Pull-Pal is a Danforth anchor for land yachts. I have actually used a Danforth for exactly the job that the pull pal is made for when an "ex" got her car stuck in the sand near a yacht club. A Danforth doesn't fold down so it wouldn't store very easily unless you wante...

Re: Alcohol-water injection for Turbo diesels Good cheap HP/TQ
Hi Gang, I'm pretty much ready to try this out. I've read a lot about this and I have a friend who is a senior HD machanic and he says " Yep, water injection has been around for years and is used in a lot of places that you just wouldn't expect to look, like marine and locomotive engines. Works...

Re: ive got some questions, do you have some answers?!
Hello chrisbouchard, I have a standard but some have said that it has two dipsticks; One in the engine bay and... Hmmm... yeah, injector pump. I cleaned up all around mine and then tucked some coloured toilet paper around and went for a short drive. The coloured toilet paper produces more contrast b...

Powell's ! Pick Powell's... er.. Portland. Hi marsgal, A tad off topic but if your were to decide to visit Powell's and you happen to stumble on a copy of James Sewid's book "Guests Never Leave Hungry" and if you were to purchase said book and bring it back, I would be pretty much at your ...

Re: Poor driving style
Hi again gang, OK well you got me started... Sorry. There is a large, very large body of statistics gathered by a California underwriting group that shows that if you haven't had an accident by the time you are about 25 for women and about 28 for men, the overwhelming probability is that you will no...

Hi Profister, Hmmm.... Blue and white..... North Van... That sounds like me. Wait a sec.. Tuesday, the 4th. around 6:00 P.M.... Thankfully no. I wasn't there. I had to think about it though and check my calendar. I have a lot of family in the insurance business. A study in California found that peop...

Good Morning Pucky, I had to look at your name for a few seconds before I could put it back into context. I am a friend and co-worker of David Baar. You and I spoke on the phone about 2 or maybe 3 years ago about setting up a small server farm behind a load balancing firewall. You seemed to me at th...

Re: North shore meet
Howdy Gang, If the time and place aren't necessarily fixed, I would be inclined to suggest that you consider someplace other than Ambleside, or if you really want to meet at Ambleside, be sure that you do not have any open liquor at all. West Van has their own police force and a strict no liquor pol...
