Re: L400 Fender Flares
Here is a super late reply - I got some flares from the UK - you can find them on eBay. The guy makes them, then they sell out, then he makes them again.
I don't yet know how to install them though - have not yet figured that part out. Also, I will have to modify them when I get a new bumper.

Re: Deli won't start - Starter not engaging...
So, many years later, the L400 is running again. Root cause was a failed starter. Since it has been sitting garaged for years, and then Covid came along, fixing it back up was not a high priority. Finally, after ages struggling with the starter replacement, it fired up! Now there is a lot of post-st...

Re: New potential Delica owner
I think it is a matter of Preference. From what I understand, the L400 is better offroad, but the D5 is far more modern with more creature comforts.

Hey DeliTan2! No, the solenoid does not click at all. Turning the key just does "nothing" Though, the dash lights and everything darken in preparation to start the vehicle, but the solenoid never engages. I can get my multimeter out and validate that the battery wire is hot - have not trie...

This thing is still a brick.
Anyone know where I can order a Royal Exceed Gear Position Sensor for a 1995 L400?
I cannot find these online - I can't even find the part number.

Those fuses were ok.
Looks like I have to start looking at the sensor on the transmission.
Though, I suppose I can hot wire the starter to see if it tries to turn over.

Accessing A/C low pressure port
I cannot remember where it was, as this was 6 years ago, but I believe it is on the bottom right, when standing outside and facing the engine, down between where the batteries are, and the bus bar on the engine if my memory serves me correctly. I was able to reach the low side without TOO much issue...

Deli won't start - Starter not engaging...
So, a couple of weeks ago I left my Deli off the trickle charger as it does not get much exercise. Batteries totally dead. I charge it up... and... van won't start. Hook it up to my 200 AMP car charger, and.... won't start. I just put in two brand new 690 CCa batteries in the Deli and... won't start...

Brake Hoses? Same as 1995 Montero?
I have been searching the forum, and I have come up empty. I know the calipers are the same as the montero, and the rotors are specific to the Deli, but I can’t seem to find out if I can use Montero brake hoses as a replacement. I would figure I could, but I have been unable to confirm this. Has any...

Where does one find Body Clips for an L400?
I need to pull of a lot of my interior body panels, and of course, all the body clips being old plastic are shattering. I have searched online, and I can't find any matching body clips like the ones on my L400. To be sure, I have found some similar ones, but finding the same ones with the same colou...

Crosses countless times in my L400. Seen L300's on the blackball ferry all the time.
