Re: Sleeper Van
We asked the same question not that long ago. When your seats are folded down you won't be perfectly straight but having a queen size air mattress on top of the bench is quite comfortable. We slept really well on our last few backpacking trips so much so that now we plan on doing more day hiking and...

Re: Oil filters for L300
I tried the parts wiki this afternoon but it seems to be lost. Any idea where it got redirected to?
We put on a Fram PH 6355 today. All went fine until we started it and realized it wasn't quite threaded on straight. Now we can recommend a good diesel oil spill clean up protocol

Re: repair in Edmonton???
We have work done on our L300 at Apex auto in the NE end. Ver y professional and didn't look at Delilah like she was a spaceship. I will not hesitate to go there again.

Re: Sleeping in your L300
We went for our first weekend and did rather well with the benches laid flat and an air mattress over top. I have issues with the cold transfer when camping and usually fix it with a thermarest overlay. One bonus we hadn't thought: we liked being able to deflate the mattress and reversing the middle...

Re: Sleeping in your L300
Amazing slide out! I however, could be nominated for Canada's worst handyman so I don't think I'll be tackling that project!
I think on our trip this weekend we will start with an air mattress and then work our way up to plywood.

Re: New Edmonton Delica Owners
Hi Spearo, I thought we saw someone around town! Thanks everyone for the welcome. 1000km and counting and I think I love Delilah as much as our dogs and even more than our cats. ( It comes a close second to the kids too :-D ) Still working on uploading pictures from our inaugural trip in Delilah.......

Sleeping in your L300
My SO and I are having quitea discussion on camping/sleeping in Delilah, our new L300. We have two benches that apparently convert into a bed. My SO figures this should be fine for sleeping but I am old and the thought of sleeping on a less than perfect flat surface leaves my bones creaking. So what...

Re: RHD question?
We have had Delilah for a month now and I prefer the RHD over LHD. The mirrors make everything so easy to see that I feel safer passing and changing lanes than in my Santa Fe. I was worried about parts but everything has been A-OK and we were even able to replace our stereo with a wal-mart brand. No...
