Re: Oil filters for L300
Smart of you to ask. Go to the forum index and scroll down to "Delica Canada Technical". FAQ Section is useful, as is L300 Downloads ~ and of course L300 Technical. You might also peruse Delica Modifications to see what alternative projects have been undertaked, as far as oil is concerned.

Baldwin BD-28, available from Kenworth dealers (amongst other places). Warranty approved for Cat diesel engines they have in Kenworth trucks, so must be pretty good.

Re: Oil filters for L300
I tried the parts wiki this afternoon but it seems to be lost. Any idea where it got redirected to?
We put on a Fram PH 6355 today. All went fine until we started it and realized it wasn't quite threaded on straight. Now we can recommend a good diesel oil spill clean up protocol

Yes..the Fram doesn't work. I made the same mistake. Thought I had the filter all tightened up but in fact it had just gotten to the point where the threads had locked, and oil spewed everywhere at startup. That was a bad part number from the very beginning of the original parts Wiki. Agree that BD28 is the way to go but call the Kenworth dealer before dropping by. Inland Kenworth in Burnaby stocks them - but I've found them on backorder once before so always call before making a visit.
