Hi there,
It appears there is a watermelon-sized hole in my muffler. Does anyone know where I might buy a new 3" muffler for an L400?
Cheers,
Jamie.

The little 3" Magnaflow resonators are kinda crap. Out east they fall apart in 2 winters. I've seen some 4" ones that might be better, at least the material isn't packed in so tight.
Personally I decided to buy a 4" one made by a Canadian diesel performance shop (yes back east diesel is way cooler) and mated that with 2-1/4" mandrel bent exhaust. The van sounds great, it is faster and exhaust temps are down. I'm just in the process of working with a local exhaust builder to put complete bolt on kits together for L300 & L400.

I'm curious to know more about this. Cost? Muffler used? Who is the builder? Please let me know.RichD wrote: I'm just in the process of working with a local exhaust builder to put complete bolt on kits together for L300 & L400.
