Kinda a mini pop up; sailed with a friend years back were that was the only standing headroom in his 26sail boat. Never seen one on a Delica, but it would allow standing room for one person for cooking, stretching during inclement weather and changing clothes, and might make the interior space for more livable. Combine that with an awning and a rear hatch tent for a quick set up camper.

why not a modded roof top tent that could be accessed through the moon roof? then you can have standing room and a separate place to sleep so the interior can be better utilized.

Would be interested in the schematic view. Do you still have them somewhere? Looks like most of your flickr photos are not working anymore...

I've been cleaning my flickr account and accicentally deleted 90% of my delica-related pics. Sorry about that !

I'm going to rummage through my computer and see what I still have regarding camper conversions and upload them :M

Actually, I think you could get into an '86 or '87 year-model. The ban only applied to RHD's that were between 15 and 25 years old (based on my assessment with my armchair law degree).

You're right,RHD in Quebec are permitted but only if they are 25 years old...or more!
These ones are,in the best case, 'only' 20 years old. Finding a '86 or '87 pop-top will be very hard and they will be old look delica without the 4d56.

No,i'm just dreaming...

Ha! Good eye. Isn't on the right way but opening backwards? The spoiler is on the back but they must have order the "open high at the front" model versus the "open high at the back"...oops!

Maybe the person that ordered it was very tall and needed more head room while driving...this might be a tough sell once people clue into the backward-ness. :-)
