Roof Rack / Basket - what fits on a Delica?

Hey everyone

So I'd like to try and find a used roof rack/cargo basket for my deli before summer, as I am planning a long road trip for all of August. I do not have $1000+ to spend on custom things (as nice as they are)

I am wondering if there are universal/after-market roof racks that will fit on a Delica, or if there are other racks made for other vehicles that will fit.

I don't need anything overly heavy-duty, I think I will mainly put things like the tent, camp chairs, etc up there, just to free up space inside.

I have a high roof L300, I think the height of the roof is the biggest challenge in finding something that fits...

I found this one on Kijiji, but perhaps I should look for something a bit more substantial?

I have a full roof rack set-up ready to go, just posted it all yesterday.

below is a photo of my old van en route to the wreckers but shoes the roof rack set-up. Custom built made from 1'' steel bar. dimensions are 8'x2'x10'' and holds whatever you want in it (ive sat on top in chairs and drank beer!). it is attached to the roof with three thule hi-roof bars that attatch to rain gutters. the rack has been powdercoated black and is showing a little bit of surface rust but nothing major.

I also have a powder coated terzo ladder system to get you up to the roof.

im asking 300 for the box, 200 for the supports/bars, and 100 for the ladder but if you take them all ill do $500 all in.

Yes, thank you I saw your post! Unfortunately I am in Calgary, so coming to get it (or having it shipped) would inflate the cost a bit too much....

Google Thule Super High. These are the only stock cross-bar style racks that will fit your roof, especialy if you want to mount them towards back where roof rises even higher above gutters.

Yakima also makes a version, but Thule is the original rectanble design so better.

Thing to do is find bars used on craigslist and then order feet via internet from the US where I've seen as low as $180 for the feet.

Thule so expensive. Impossible to find used.
