Hello All,
I am thinking of getting my delica painted while I love the van I find white to be kind of boring. As I have never gotten a vehicle painted before and this will be a custom job what kind of costs should I be lookin at. Also I would love to see some pictures of delis that have been repainted if anyone has done so. (even spray can or roller just to get an idea)
Thanks,
Russell

Re: Painting the delica
I asked the local body shop up the road from where I live, and ball park dollar amount was 3000$ for a mask-and-paint, 5000$ and upwards for removals (windows and gaskets) and insides (all openings). Price is dependent on type of paint used: common, basic paint is cheaper than metallic with extra clear coats.
Apparently, the roller painting can turn out quite well, if one puts the time and effort into it: prepping, letting it cure between coats, wet sanding, prepping, etc. I'd be interested in this method, if only because I could do it piecemeal instead of turning my car over to the shop for a couple of weeks.
