Hello all you South Island Delica people. Many of us have met and spoken about a toy drive. I have been working with another site I belong to and we have our 7th anual Santas anonamous toy drive sponsered by C-fax radio and some other sponsers. 100% of any money donated and toys go to less fortunate kids getting a toy at Christmas, We are having a show and shine and Ramp day if anyone wants to test out their suspension. I know this is not a delica specific cause but its a worthy one as we are all 4x4 owners.

SO Saturday Dec 8th if you would like to come buy a hotdog, drink & pop for $4 and bring an unwraped toy to Western Speedway from 10:30 am -2:30pm you can help a great cause, meet some other delica owners, and know that YOU helped some kids have a better Christmas than they would have if you just sit at home on a sat and stare at your obsession (Delica)
If you would like to test your suspension by using the ramp, the cost is one unwraped toy.

this is not a parade of vehicles as in the past we have had over 50 4x4's show up and its to big to parade down to c-fax.
This would also be a great way for us to have some GOOD publicity for our Delicas/right hand drives.
the ramp session is insured for those who wonder.

Ok people, many of you wanted to do somehting good this year. and many wanted to be involved, but no one has posted or confirmed, I agree that the island 4x4 is not a delica meet, BUT its for a good cause, its allready organised with food, donations publicity insurance and ive been involved with them for over ten years now. so wash your van and make an apearance to bring a few kids a gift this year under the tree. hell , test out how your van would do off road on the ramp, or just come buy a tube steak every penny of this goes to the c-fax 1070 radio toy drive. Im donating toys and money for this.
