I added a oil catch can to my l400 today. It could use another anchoring point to make it secure.
Do any of you members know of a aluminum fabricator in the lower mainland that could manufacture small strap for me?
Thanking you ahead of time.
Paul

Did you consider alternate options to welding?? If you really want to weld a bracket on, these guys are in Pitt Meadows-
Evolution Auto Performance
470-20170 Stewart Cres, Maple Ridge, BC V2X 0T4
604-460-7969
These guys are in Langley just behind Sport Trucks Unlimited
VND Motorsport
Suite 25-19257 Enterprise Way Surrey, BC V3S 6J8
(778) 278-1116
I could meet you at the latter and do it for you, I don't work there, but my good friend runs the place so I hang out there on occasion.

Re: Aluminum Fabricator Request
I was looking for 2mm stock.
It requires bends and twists and two holes drilled ... not complicated or expensive.
I want it to match the can when its done
I can connect it to the firewall and can myself thanks for the offer.
Its no problem looking in the yellow pages, I just want to spread the LOVE and use contractors the members have experience with.
Regards,
Paul

Another option could be Syncro Metal Works in North Vancouver. They have done a lot of work for me.

I was passing on the love, my roomate works at evolution, he's an amazing fabricator, and one of my best friends owns VND where I often moonlight as I am a metal fabricator specializing in aluminum and stainless.
