Neither one of the lights was 100% complete.....will be using them to make one good unit complete with LED upgrade. Will look at doing an engine bay mount with the other one.... Its dark under that hood!

I managed to finally add center-cup holders to my "behind the front seat" counter. Also added a few strips of moulding so the tissue box will stop sliding every time I turn a corner.

I finished fabricating some brackets to hold mudflaps on the rear wheel wells. Used a cardboard template and bent some steel, drilled some holes and gave 3 coats of tremclad.
Hey, I have noticed some surface rust forming in the rear under and around the spare tire. I want to get rid of it so what are your thoughts on these products? I was thinking zap it with the rust converter and then use one of the 2 types of undercoating crap. Thoughts? Product reviews?

Re: What did you do TO your Delica today?
I would use the same product so you know they are comparable, but I would throw a layer of paint over the rust converter then over the undercoating a good layer of Fluid Film
Then you would have your total protection

Measure it twice, cut once. Dam still cut wrong

In my experience rust converters etc only ever really attack the surface layer, so either sand/wire brush it down so its a very thin layer of rust, or por 15 it, which seems to work even on thicker rust.

I removed the old gold pinstripes and 2800 decals and replaced them with something a little more clean, new and different. Black I know is simple but it works and the red has a hint of orange so it looks retro esk.

LeeHammy, your Pejero sure puts that civic to shame and it's not just because it looks like every other modified civic.

Haha thanks! Maybe also because my modified JDM can go over a speed bump? :P if only there was a 4x4 category at that "car" show...sigh.. Was fun dressing it all up though! Major difference in the paint feel, nothing seems to stick to it, dust water etc. :D

Re: What did you do TO your Delica today?
I finally got hold of a MPH speedo fascia and installed it, then gps checked it, it was surprisingly accurate. In the post is some replacement LED's for the DELICA lights at the back, after that I may fit the OOGA horn I had in my landy, I'm thinking a big red push button next to the vent above the stereo, easy reach for both me and the passenger, and a label that says "OOGA" under it, then when the passengers ask what an ooga is, invite them to press it.

Re: What did you do TO your Delica today?
Made myself a cabin air filter. Remember reading here a while ago about them being non existant and got tired of the used dryer sheet I had been using always falling out when I popped the hood so I came up with a little invention. I purchased some new charcoal prefilters for our bedroom air purifier from London Drugs and realized they would work great to replace said dryer sheet. $15 (enough in the box to probably make 4 or 5) and 4 of my wifes bobbie pins to hold it in place. Works well.
