Falco is on the right track. If you want to do it right, you need a Star Wars mural, but not one with Luke and his light sabre, and Princess Leia cowering behind him.
Three words: Grand Moff Tarkin.
Finish it off with a set of mud flaps from the Leduc Husky and you're all set. Jaos Schmaos.
Do you think I should add some flair or not?

Since it's a JDM, maybe a Japanese motif might be more in keeping, like this.
Although I do have a strong liking for HR Giger, but I'm not sure that some of his material should be plastered all over the side of a vehicle (it can be a "bit" graphic).

Yeah, that motif might be a bit traumatic to any one from or in Japan. It is probably a little early for Tsunami art on my Japanese van.
5 for and 5 against? Well, I don't know. I probably am leaning right now to leave it be. I still haven't shown my wife my plans, and we all know how that can go. Manitoba Deli has called dibs so I might be peddling them on. Still thinking though. I am re-doing my flares right now (sorry Luna, not black....yet. I do like the idea but maybe when i run out of projects next summer
) and trying to buff out some scratches i made because i got the brainwave to use a green scouring pad to get rid of the gunk under the flares. Bad idea. Anycrap, who will break the tie?

Giger, crucial. Now that would be a Space Gear! Probably would stop any potential break ins, as well.

C'mon Falco - that's a tame one, but I think you know what I'm talking about. A quick Google search of "HR Giger" images will make it all clear for those who don't know what I'm talking about.
Growing up, I'd always wanted one of the old panel vans with the big mural on the side - the barbarian with the loin-cloth damsel at his feet - but now that I'm older I'm not so sure I'd be rollin' around with that all the time. There is some point when one has to grow up.

Seriously, Craig ~ make it your own. Just a though, although you might have to wait until September ~ why not get your pupils to come up with some ideas? You could make it a class project. I'll bet they'd think of some wild ideas. Set parameters and see what they come up with... hmm?

When I was a kid my dream machine was either one of these vans. In fact I still think they would be sweet as.chris wrote:Falco is on the right track. If you want to do it right, you need a Star Wars mural, but not one with Luke and his light sabre, and Princess Leia cowering behind him.

I made some pretty cool looking flames on my front windows coming out of the mirrors using red window tint. I did however almost get a ticket for it though, so if you do the window decal / tint route maybe try for a little further back on the vehicle.
