I have looked through some of the threads on this site that discuss power window problems, but I haven't found an answer yet.
My passenger side window (L300) slows down when being raised, and the window seems to pitch forward at the same time. It would seem to me that this is a result of some increased friction due to loose assembly, etc. I have removed the door panel and looked around and cannot find anything loose or bent. The motor seems to work fine through the lower portion of the cycle.
One of the other threads spoke about a window regulator. Is this the mechanism between the motor and the glass?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The first thing I try with window problems is graphite powder lube for locks on the runners, quite often its just down to the window sticking in the channel, worth a shot anyway, and is basic maintenance anyway.

I am picking up some grafite lube today and will give it a try.
Do you know what people are referring to when they speak about "window regulator"?

I would take that to mean the scissors or cables or whatever inside that door make the window move, to which the motor is attached. Power windows arent very complicated, though I havent had the 300s apart.

Thanks for this. I tend to agree that the regulator is as you describe. I'll go with that unless someone tells me otherwise.
Take care and thanks.

Re: Power Window Problems on L300
I had the exact problem with mine about 2 months ago. The fix was somewhat easy once figured.
First: The guide rail at the front, inside the door came out. The two holes used for mounting were made into ovals with a dremel, this allowed me to pull the guide back and snug up the ride.
The window still sagged a little, so second thing I did was adjust the scissor mechanism.
The widow motor drives a scissor mechanism, which rides on two rails to raise and lower the window. The assembly is mounted in two oblong holes. Seeing that, I was able to loosen and turn the whole mechanism counter clockwise. Re tighten and voila.
If it wasn't 36c outside I'd take the panel off and throw up some pics, but....
The first adjustment might not be necessary, but the second was. The window has been flawless since, going up and down without incident at up to 110km/hr, with or without the other window open.
