Delica Models

[El 300 Magnifico]

Not sure if there are any modelers out there, but the wife and I were browsing through a Japanese hobby shop a few days ago when she found a model of her little Pajero Jr. After some digging I found several Delica kits. They're made by Aoshima. There were only two L300 kits: a semi-pre-painte two-tone model and the blingin' D-Up (Dress Up) version. They had several more L400s in both standard, D-Up, Crystal Lite Roof, etc. I figure I'll build the standard kit to match my van the way it looks now and the D-Up kit I'll use to plan how I want to paint my real Delica when I dress it up to look like a military jet. Unfortunately, I can't bring my sweet ride back to the States when this tour is over, so the models will be great mementos.
