Toyota Wheels

Post by lrp374 »

I was looking @ a set of wheels like the ones below. Can anyone tell me if the Delica wheel nuts will work or do I need the original Toyota ones?

Thanks

Larry

I can't recall but if those rims have a flat spot, then they need the lug nut with the flat base/washer (toyota-style). These are usually found on hub centric wheels.

Mitsubishi one's are cone shaped (not hub centric)

Those Toyota rims will fit on an L300 without issues.

like jesse said, you will need 12X1.50 flat nuts with washers(lordco). actually, I had to put 2 washers to make it fit properly, orderwise the nut was too short for the stud and the rim was still a little loose. I recomended to paint them black, It look awesome!!!

P.S: make sure to check the backspacing, no more than 4.25 or the rim will hit !! this model should be OK since it fit on my van just fine..

Thanks for the info. I thought they looked different. I guess if I want them I'll need 24 new nuts and @ least that many washers.

Can anyone confirm that stock 1992 Toyota 6 bolt rims will fit on an 1991 L300 with no issues. This is what I've heard from a number of forumns but nothing conclusive. Driving about 50km to go check them out so want to make sure they will fit before I waste time.

Owner doesn't know backspacing or borehole size but it sounds like stock 6 bolt toyota truck rims are no problem on L300's

I did buy a set just like the picture. Like Pedro said it's best with 2 washers. Have had them for 2 years with 235-75 tires and no problems. The ones I got were from a 91 4runner.

mitsubishi L300 are cones, mitsubishi pajero, the old ones, are flat, its worth having a set of each as they are $$$ for what they are and selling them with wheels might mean you end up buying some later again!
