I just did a stereo install with new head unit, amps, speakers etc. I ran new speaker wire for the front speakers, but used the stock wire for the back. I noticed the colors for the rear speakers is different at the deck, than it is at the back of the van. Are the stock speakers amplified? The rear speakers don't sound as good as I think they should, so I'm thinking maybe a stock amp is messing with them? IF anyone knows if there is a stock amp, and where it is, that would be great.
My van does not have the factory tweeters on the dash if that makes a difference.
stock amplifier?

Re: stock amplifier?
Depending on model, there may be an amp under the drivers seat for Karaoke. I had mine disconnected and I removed it as my head unit has more than enough wattage.
Keep in mind many of these vans have been modified in Japan as well.
