Anyone with max overdrive roof bars and L400 crystal lite?

I need to know how high the cross bars are above the roof. Mdrive says 2 - 3 inches but I need to know exactly to confirm my roof box will fit in the garage. 2.5 inches or less and I can do it.

I have some bars on a crystal roof, still looking? I would need to get some snow off the top but I could do it for you. Where do you need to measure from as the roof is curved...

I have a pair of Max-O bars. It is just under two inches to the top of the bar measured in the middle between the crystal lite glasses.
