Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

Which airline to t boost Guage into?

Post by Lomoski »

Hi guys,
I finally purchased my boost Guage and am looking to install it tomorrow. What airline have you guys tapped into? Can you use the one from the top of the EGR? Is it boost controlled like a tdi or is there one off the top of the manifold. Interested to see what pressure I'm getting out of my turbo at the moment. Thanks!

use the canister hose going to the top of the injector pump,(braided cloth 3/8 casing) this will see the true engine vacuum. The splitter manifold (3 way T) is available at Lordco or any parts store.(the "HELP" racks usually have them on there)

Perfect, thank you. I already have the t and hose to run to my boost Guage. How did you route through the fire wall to get into the interior?

Exactly, I brought mine through the firewall under the gear lever cover.

There is access under the gas door release lever on the L300. (remove the stock grommet that seals the cable, and simply replace with a larger hole grommet) It will allow you to run along with the stock wiring down beside the drivers seat.
No drilling necessary! :-D

Thanks guys. In will be installing it the first warm day we get here in the Rockies. I figured it was as easy as drilling my own hole but wanted to see if anyone had routed with an existing hole. I cheers
