Finally pulled the trigger

Post by volnoir »

Well I finally pulled the trigger on a L400 and wanted to thank you all for your advice, as well as all the useful information on this site. Here is a picture I took of 'er earlier today.

Very nice - the elusive black.

Cool picture too - what did you use? How did you filter/adjust/refine?

And you're welcome. That's what we're all here for: to bring you to the punch bowl and hand you the first tall glass.

Thanks Paul. Took that with a Canon 5d mkii. Had 4 flashes on it. 1 pointing from left of camera on the side, one pointing to the front grill, one under the van, and one inside to light up the interior.

Edited in Lightroom. Just boosted the contrast a bit, sharpened, and upped the clarity.

Great photo and awesome ride.

Am assuming with a 5D and 4 flashes you are not an amateur status photographer?
