Re: delica l300 power window switch
Tons of parts at Coombs Country Autos, in Parksville on Vancouver Island, they mail everywhere. They will test parts to ensure working before sending, and not expensive.
One cause of problem is on some delica the rear door switch on the dashboard (far right beside the fog light switch etc) also locks the side windows (child proof). Try pushing that switch, its magic.
Your switch may just need cleaning, easy to do. take a skinny blade, ie a box exacto knife, and slide it under the frame around the switches. Now see the decades of toast crumbs and tea in there. Hmmm, use 99 percent alcohol and qtip to clean. Dont use a spray with oily gloop ie wd40 to clean with. this works if it is slow moving, or intermittent. if absolutely no power, check fuse panel. if not enuf power to get window all the way up, then GENTLY undo inner door panel and clean up contacts, and spray electrical lube all over, expecially the x joint.
Christine.

Thanks Christine, but I found one at Rising Sun Auto they gave me a great deal on it and even tested the old one to make sure that is was the problem first.
