1990 and 1994 Delica - 5 Star Auto Sales (Vancouver Island)

I am new to this forum and the world of Delica's. This sight is holds a plethora of information!! I work for the City of Fort St. John in BC.

I decided to sign up to get everyone's expert opinion on a Delica I am looking at. It is currently in Fort St. John.

Here is the information on it:
1990 Mitsubishi Delica (two tone green & grey)

Note they also list a 1994 model on their webpage but based on what I have read here the 1990 model seems like a better option.

Hello and welcome to delica land... the van looks nice, but the price is steep compared to vancouver prices... might be worth a trip there to get a better deal.. just a thaught.. but it sure looks pretty i like the grey and custom wheels..... there are alot of good delicas in van from 7000-10000 so its pretty high for the kms even with the servicing.....good luck on whatever u find..

The westi is pretty sweet. But the price is high regardless if it says there is a new engine in the van.

I agree about the Delica. What are good locations in Vancouver to look at Deli's?

I will keep my eye on the Delica I showed you because it is already here in Fort St. John where I am located.

That westy is way overpriced. Cool Syncro, but way too high. I think it probably runs on banana peels and beer...and then hovers above your street. Oh, wait maybe that is something else I saw in a documentary about the future.

I'm not surprised by the price. I saw similar pricing before I bought my van. I continued my drive to Amazing Auto Imports...never looked back.

I got my 1991 L300 super exceed for $4000. It took a lot of waiting and pouncing at the right time to get it but you can definitely do much better than the price listed for that 1990...

This means many thousand
Dollars in parts and labour resulting
In a van that needs nothing except
Regular oil changes and a very happy
Owner.

You can always make an offer.
Its is possible to get a solid van for
Cheaper,like whoever got Loki's
Van which had a lot of Coomb's
Work done on it.

Also, that is a good point about the necessary upgrades and preventative maintenance already being performed on the 5 Star van.

I have been also reading alot on the pros and cons of the L300 vs. L400. What is the general consensus for the preferred 4x4 in winterland up here in Northern BC? The winter package on the charmonix seems like a nice addition but isn't anything too fancy past the dual battery set-up.

Do you buy a Delica?

Yesterday I saw my first Delica L300, in Fort St John, in the parking lot of the Pomeroy Center during the home show, and that is actually the farthest north in BC that I've seen a L300.
