Your top five... or 10.

Post by cd_photo »

Trying to get prepared for ongoing maintenance of our L400 and thought I would look into the most frequently replaced parts. So I thought I would ask you all what are the most regularly or frequently replaced parts on your Delicas - especially from 100,000 to 200,000 km.

Thanks,

Colin

Rocker cover seals, oil/air/fuel filters, brake pads, tranny filter could be changed, pitman/idler arm. The disposables really. Im at 180000Km and haven't had to do much else besides re-turning rotors and injectors cleaned when first bought at 90000km.

Depends on previous maintenance and abuse more than anything, and I don't baby it.

Agreed. I am on my third replaced caliper in 50, 000 km. They seize up all the time.

I just got my brakes done a couple months ago with remanufactured calipers. I wonder if it might actually be less expensive to get new Mitsubishi genuine calipers because they would seize less often?
