Post by Nordo »

That seems overly complicated to me. All you have to do is make sure your picture you want to post is under 800KB (I find about 600 x 400 px to be right), press the "choose file" button below (when you are writing a post). Choose the file from your computer, then click "add the file". If it doesn't work, it's probably because the image is too big.

You can hit preview when you are done, and you should see your image with your post. Easy peasy. If you need to post larger images, then you can use the more complicated method, but I find anything bigger than 600px across to be too big for easy browsing anyway.

My, that's a really nice Jasper.

What Glenn said, make sure it's less than 80kb as well.

Seems pretty straight forward to me, I went with his first option, only I went with Picassa. I upload the image from my laptop to Picassa, it offers me a choice of three sizes ~ I go with the website/forum option. Once it's in there I go to create a post and when I come to where I want to place the picture I click on the "Img" button in the above tool bar, then I copy the image location from Picassa and drop it between the Img thingies:

    Et voila!

Incidentally, there are other options of loading pictures as an attachment, as is described by Fexlboi, also in the Delica FAQ forum. Both ways have their pluses and minuses, as an attachment the thread can take a long time opening up, as a image location is great until the original location is deleted for what ever reason. There is a third way by loading the image into your image account in Delica Canada, however since we last updated DC the gallery has gone screwy. This issue is on our agenda, just not at the top of the list. Soon, hopefully.

Falco.
