Paracord handle wrap.

Post by macro »

Decided to wrap a couple grab handles and see how it holds up. If it ages well I'll probably end up doing the rest. I left the little loops in it to clip carabiners too, you never know!!

Now that I look at it again, those loops might have to go...

I also made a monkey fist!! First one! Ended up being a little too long though, sadly.
I wrapped the emerg brake too. I was bored this evening.

I like it. - The monkey fist is cool. I've never tried one. If it's too long you could cut it and rejoin it with a sliding monkey fist bend, aka double fisherman's bend...
I'm not crazy about the biner loops either, at least not on the driver's get in handle. Maybe on the dash one...
Cool Idea.

Good idea. Makes it a little more personalised/custom like.

Shortened up the grab handle wraps so it's only on the flatter part and got rid of the loops. Much better! I've had this same rope on my flashlight that I've used at work for about 5 years and it's aged pretty well. Hopefully this will too, and if it starts to look gross, I can change it!
