speaker idea

Post by bassnailer »

I have posted in the past about getting a new sound system. But as of yet I have not. But I haven't stopped thinking about it. One of my thoughts is this: I would like to put a little sub-woofer up front because I really need bass! And I don't want to kill my daughters ears who is still carseat bound in the back. The hot/cold box looks like an ideal place for a sub. Would i be opening up a can of worms by pulling that thing out of there and installing a sub? Or is it as simple as pulling that box out and installing a sub. Thoughts?

What about making the sub-woofer mobile? You know, make the lead longer and don't fix the woofer down ~ like ~ let the dogs out, man! I do this with mine. I have an extended lead that's got a split loom jacket so I can move the sub around, depending how I have my interior configured.

Also, you could always turn the woofer down when you have your daughter with you...
