wdo lock/unlock

wdo lock/unlock
Sorry for newbie question......I assume this is window lock on right side steering wheel. It doesn't seem to do anything when I turn it on or off and has no effect on the windows. I have so many questions.........

I have a 97 with the same switch. Its in place of earlier models' rear hatch lock. For me it disables my passenger window switch on the console. When I first got my van I tried to lock the hatch only to discover after that my window wouldn't work, which led to much confusion. I would rather have the hatch lock...
