Hydrophobic Spray

Post by Shaun Van Ramen »

A customer mentioned this to me. Was wondering if any of us Deli owners have heard about it. I'm thinking it would solve alot of rust and leak issues on our Delis.

Food for thought.

looks interesting.
would want to see more info on the metal paint tho.
if I could just paint it over rust issues(I suspect not), it would be da bomb.
Roads!? Who the hell needs roads!?,

There is plenty of info online as to the possibilities. We tried some at work. The spray is a two part system and it does leave a whitish residue that is noticeable on darker colours. Also, any contact with any other chemical, detergent or hard scrubbing will render it useless. So although it looks totally amazing in the video (promotional - go figure) it seems to be a little fragile. Not quite what we were expecting.

But...

if you have a white Deli it may solve the rust and leaking issues????

From what I have been told (by people around my area using it) is that it wears away pretty quick.
