Heh...I saw no fewer than four Delis today, all but one were L400. I love living here.

I booted around the GVA end of august and spotted 5 Delis between Calgary and Vancouver on the trip out. The kids had a blast yelling at me everytime they saw one which happened 2-4 times a day.
We even saw a green/grey L400 parked at the Holiday Inn we stayed at in Richmond on No.6 Road.

Really low one for me. A single L300, and that's only because I know where it lives.

Yesterday saw a trip up towards Campbell River, so that I could see, for the first time, the salmon run at a hatchery there. That is cool stuff, if you're from Ontario and have never seen summat like this. So many large fish in one area...
Along the way, no fewer than eight Delis, a good mix of L300 and L400.

You should take the trip up to Adams river on a high run year, I believe they go in four year cycles. It's one of the largest salmon runs in the world I think. It's Just west of Salmon Arm!RadarGrrl wrote:Yesterday saw a trip up towards Campbell River, so that I could see, for the first time, the salmon run at a hatchery there. Re: How many Delicas have you spotted today?
Today was a busy one. Besides my own Dalek sitting in our parking spot, and the myriads at CCA, and the three sitting at Five Star, we saw no fewer than eight Delicas on a day trip to Victoria.
We didn't take the Dalek this trip, partially because I'm still getting used to RHD driving on the right, and not quite ready to try it on in a downtown city, and because the Escort gets far better fuel mileage on cheaper fuel. (It was $1.18/L in Courtenay this morn, compared with $1.32/L for diesel.) Sacrilege, I know..
Longer trips soon...

A banner day yesterday...six of them, all in the space of a half hour trip to downtown Courtenay. Sadly, nobody Dwaved back.

Ten Delis on the road from Victoria to Nanaimo yesterday, but only two today. But I waved at the one near the Costco in Comox, and, for the first time, the woman driving saw me and waved back.
